While you hope everything goes to plan, there’s always the risk of falling ill on your trip, especially if you’re around lots of people. Keep Your Medical Records on Hand

Physicians must understand your medical history to diagnose an illness properly. Of course, hauling around a binder is impractical when traveling; instead, download files to your phone as PDFs. Just take note of where on your iPhone you’re saving the PDF for easy access. While this takes up more space than cloud storage, it ensures you can access your records anywhere.

Prioritize Sleep

Getting a good night’s sleep boosts your immune system and helps manage weight, so it should be high on your priority list. Of course, sleeping in a hotel isn’t always easy, even if the accommodations are luxurious — some people sleep best in their own beds. If you fall into this category, try these restful sleep tips:

  • Turn off the screen at least an hour before bedtime
